Haider Ali got a lifeline when Mohammad Hafeez and Fakhar Zaman collided and dropped the catch. The ball took a leading edge of the bat as Haider Ali opted for a huge shot. Both the players came to grab the ball but the ball slipped from/ Fakhar Zaman’s hands and fell to the ground.
But later in the innings, Fakhar Zaman dismissed Haider Ali as he ran short of the crease. Haider missed his half century by just one run.

After the conclusion of the game, Hafeez said that he and Fakhar thought that it was their catch and therefore went for it. “He told me that I said ‘Yes mine!’, but I said ‘No it’s mine!,” said Mohammad Hafeez.
In response to that Fakhar Zaman sarcastically said that he told to his mind and not to Hafeez that it was his catch. You called ‘Yes mine right’? But believe me, I said ‘No it’s mine’ in my mind,” said Fakhar Zaman.
Fakhar Zaman took this incident to twitter and posted about the incident. He updated his profile photo wherein he and Hafeez can be seen dropping the catch.
