Mumbai batsman Sarfaraz Khan pays respects to Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala, who was recently shot dead by his attackers in the Ranji Trophy final. After scoring a century in the final against Madhya Pradesh, Sarfaraz won the admiration of the fans by paying homage to Sidhu. In the 114th over, Kumar Karthikeyan hit a boundary to reach the Sarfaraz century.
The Bangalore Chinnaswamy Stadium witnessed the emotional aftermath of the century. The emotional Sarfaraz Khan bat and arms swayed in the air as he cheered. He then imitated Sidhu Moosewala’s signature dance step. He pointed to the sky, hitting his thigh like Sidhu Moosewala.
Sidhu Moosewala was a famous singer and Congress leader in Punjab. He was shot dead by 30 assailants in his hometown of Mansa. The attack came after the Punjab government withdrew Sidhu’s VIP security.

Sarfaraz Khan is a name that has created panic in domestic cricket, and now the fans are demanding that Sarfaraz should be given a place in the Indian Test team.
