Roger Binny to succeed Sourav Ganguly as BCCI president, Jay Shah to continue as secretary

A significant change will take place in the leadership of the BCCI. Sourav Ganguly is the current BCCI President, and Jay Shah is the BCCI Secretary. According to recent reports, Sourav Ganguly is preparing to take over as Chairman of the International Cricket Council. As a result, Sourav Ganguly will have to step down as BCCI president, and former Indian cricketer Roger Binny will take his place. Jay Shah will remain the BCCI secretary.

On October 18, the BCCI will hold its annual conference in Mumbai. At this meeting, the new BCCI officers will be elected. Sourav Ganguly, Jay Shah, Roger Binny, and the BCCI have yet to respond to these BCCI president role rumours.

Roger Binny is the current President of the Karnataka Cricket Association. Roger Binny was a member of the Indian team that won the World Cup in 1983. Roger Binny has also served on the BCCI’s selection committee. Another news is that current IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla will step down. The current BCCI Treasurer, Arun Dhumal, is expected to be the next IPL chairman.
