IPL 2022: Prasidh Krishna and Aaron Finch Were Involved In A War Of Words During RR vs KKR Match

Match 30 of IPL 2022 saw some breathtaking batting performances between Kolkata Knight Riders and the Rajasthan Royals at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on April 18. However, while Finch was walking back to the pavilion after being caught he turned toward Prasidh and started saying something to the youngster. The young pacer did not back down either and gave it back to the Australian T20 skipper.

Aaron Finch and Iyer were involved in a 107-run stand for the second wicket after Kolkata lost pinch-hitter, Sunil Narine early, for a golden duck. Once the T20 World Cup-winning captain was caught, the pressure was on Iyer to anchor the chase and he did his level best to make a comeback in the match. He scored 85 runs from 51 balls.

Regardless, once he was caught plumb in front of the wicket by wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, different batters could generally not contribute excessively. Tail-ender Umesh Yadav contributed with a nine-ball 21 yet that was insufficient as KKR were bowled out for 210 in the last over to lose the game by seven runs.
