England’s fast bowler is one of the funniest guys on the field and he is often talked about his reactions when he is on the field. A new-look England team is currently playing a 3 match test series in the West Indies and the first game is in the balance with both teams landing punching on each other.
Apart from the game, It’s England fast bowler Mark Wood who is winning the internet with his antic reaction as he entertains the cricket fans once again. In a video from the second day of play, it is seen that the England team is in a huddle discussing some strategy about the game. But Mark Wood who was at the fine leg watches from that far, When the cameraman turns towards him he hilariously pulls his arms out and pretends to be a part of the team huddle leaving the commentators on air and the crowd in awe. He is that type of cricketer who always wins the internet with his funny reactions. Mark Wood was brought by Lucknow super Giants for a whopping sum of 7.5cr INR in the recently concluded IPL Mega Auction.
As far as the game is concerned, it’s quite hanging in the balance as after a sparkling century from Johnny Bairstow on the first day, West Indies bounced back on the second day and bowled out England for just 311 runs in the first innings. In reply, West Indies openers started well by adding 83 runs for the first wicket thanks to an excellent half-century from the skipper Kraigg Brathwaite, England bowlers tried hard on a flattish wicket and picked 4 wickets at the end of the second day of play and West Indies finished on 202 for 4 at the stumps on Day2 leaving the game in the balance.
Mind you England are without James Anderson and Stuart Broad who have 1177 wickets combined, It will be quite interesting to see how the current players will take that responsibility.
