This year’s IPL has seen Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya getting furious with his teammates as in the previous game he was all over David Miller and in the game against SRH, the all-rounder seethed at Mohammed Shami. Hardik lashed out after Shami didn’t attempt a catch on Rahul Tripathi’s shot.
The Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya has led his side brilliantly so far in IPL 2022 however his annoyance has also been on display in the competition. In the last match, it was David Miller who was at it was headed out to get end after Hardik Pandya. This time around, it was Mohammed Shami who needed to endure the worst part of his skipper’s resentment when he didn’t attempt a catch.
This incident took place on the final ball of the 12th over which Hardik Pandya was bowling himself. Rahul Tripathi, Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen played an uppercut over the in-field and it almost went to Mohammed Shami who was standing at third man. However, Shami was slow to move forward if he wanted to convert it into a catch he needed to move quickly. Instead, Shami didn’t take the chance he took the safe route of protecting the boundary which got Hardik Pandya angry as he fumed at his teammate for not attempting the catch.
